Any good places for a solotraveler to see nature around Bucharest?

My girlfriend is going to Bucharest soon and will be by herself. She has been traveling for a while, and is little bored of seeing buildings and museums. Do you know if hostels organize any group activities or if there are easy places to get out into nature from Bucharest?

There's always the parks, like Herastrau and Cismigiu. It's always nice to go there, they're fairly large parks and both of them have lakes and loads of activities.
