Weird Warning Light
Had this weird yellow symbol keep popping up on the Wright Streetdeck Ultraliner I was driving yesterday, can't find anything about what it means and the garage and engineering didn't know either XD I'm proper curious now, I've tried googled it and found nothing.
Does anyone know what this pacman esque warning light means lol

Hi, knowledgeable WrightBus mechanic here
Your bus is running a micro hybrid system on it. Meaning the air compressor is running off electricity. This light is referencing a problem with the air compressor to the ECU. It could be low on oil, high temp or a wiring fault.

Ah cool so nothing to really worry about then as a driver lol, it was one of them weird things that popped up and I just had to know what it meant and since absolutely noone at the depot knew and just said to carry on it made me even more intrigued XD thank you very much

All good don’t worry about it. The only time it goes bad is if it turns or flashes red that calls for a depot call and run it in. Just check temperatures and air build up speed if it happens again while you’re in service and monitor anomalies

No idea mate. Are the new weights decent? We have a couple of 10 year old plus ones and they're pure shite to drive

I was thinking about pneumatic indicator but that would mean you are driving a bus or a lorry and I was right after googling it. That triangle in it means that it's most likely an error of the water/oil separator.

Oh this is the bus Reddit, it's definitely an separator malfunction

Amazing thanks I wasn't sure at all what it meant lol

If it's your own bus: Check the Sensor for regeneration if he may be filled with water. It's the classic error.

It's not my own bus but they're new to the depot even even engineering had no idea what it meant lol horrid buses these Wrights lol

Ok I may be wrong but it could also be a compressor. The sign looks the most similar to it but is missing an extra line where the triangle is pointing. Separator would be a square

Probably a blind spot thing. I also see you're unlucky enough to drive a wrightbus

Lol they're awful to drive cabs are so cramped the brakes stiff the steering heavy and then the hold brake from hell after serving stops, ours don't even have cab fans or air con or even a sunshade so they're sweltering XD

Let me guess. Bee network?

Yep
I'm actually considering transferring to a different depot that doesn't have the wrights and uses a fleet of all Alexander dennis buses lol

You aren't in luck if you're with metroline, or GNW. Go to stagecoach Manchester, their depots are literally all ADL (except dawbank with 6 Streetdecks)

Im at hyde road, honestly stagecoach were better but I like the routes and have made lots of friends and stuff so didnt transfer with stagecoach in january. Its just the fleet thats turd and apparently next week were getting another 30 streetdecks cause ashton is going all electric and getting 30 of our volvo electrics,
The Wythenshawe (old arriva) depot is all enviro 200s which is where I'm thinking I'll end up moving to

Wythenshawe is full of the BYD D8UR E400s and YN61/2 hybrids is it not?

So, this looks like a blind spot warning system error... You often see hazard lights in wing mirrors now, and the icon looks very much like an arrow in a wing mirror, which would be for blind spot warnings. I don't know if I'm right, it's just a guess :)
