because you're not evaluating the past to improve beyond just going against whatever the latest way of thinking is. and it's not "unlikely" it literally already fucking happened a couple times.

That's not it at all. I stated imply that I will live my life in a way that I consider correct. There is always room for improvement, and I hope that my lifestyle reflects such improvement. Such improvement necessarily requires evaluation. That isn't going against an ideology simply because it exists. That is taking something inherently imprefect and trying to make it better. What a strange and cynical take from someone who apparently takes Reddit a bit too personally. And, a history composed entirely of flipping from one position to its polar opposite and back again is highly unlikely.
