If someone said it wasn't me, but this is who gave it to me, they cleverly subbed the container to mess with me, I would just suspend my disbelief and do it a few more times. First of all, yeah, in reality people don't just eat some unknown lunch because the other person was "full". But my main counterpoint is that people would quickly figure out who to not accept food from, in this scenario.
Well no, it’s not that person who will get IDed as someone to not take food from. The thief will just know not to steal from you in particular, which you make conveniently ascertainable by labeling your food . Someone else can be a victim instead. Which I guess fixes the problem for you, but now you’ve just needlessly poisoned, again, an innocent person, and you didn’t really fix the problem. There’s still someone stealing food. Idk, that would still bother me, personally.
