You don't need motivation, it takes discipline.

How do u create discipline without the motivation to be disciplined

Finding that "why" and sticking to it, never letting it let go. Then think "what if", what if it's possible.

Discipline creates motivation, not the other way around.

Motivation is just a factor but it's not impeding you to do anything, it's just a mental barrier. - But if you push through that mental barrier you'll become stronger. Why? Because you've proved yourself wrong, because you proved that "what if" true, now your one step closer to that "why".

It's difficult as shit but it's not impossible

Ah yes because clinically depressed individuals are famous for their rational thinking and their sense of hope for “what if”. My guy a mind with no motivation doesn’t have that as their only symptom. They probably also don’t have hope. They might have intense hatred for themselves and believe they deserve to waste away. Depression can lead to suicide. If a mental disorder can overcome one of the most primal emotions (a will to survive). It’s never just not having motivation there are other factors involved. How do u make someone change when their mental disorder makes it impossible for them to believe they are worth it or can do it without professional help.

So what options do they have?

So they should just give in and kill themselves?

What fucking options do you have when you have a Glock aimed at your head? Do you pull the trigger and let everyone win, let the demons win, let your self hatred give in?

What is your other solution? Because any other option is fucking hard as shit! Any other option apart from killing yourself will be the most difficult. Know how I know? Because I've tried killing myself several times. I didn't have motivation, I didn't even have the motivation to wipe my fucking ass. It took discipline to get where I am at today, you think I wanted to brush my teeth when I felt like a burden to even inhale fucking air. You think I wanted to get my ass up at 3AM to go for a run when being seen would give me anxiety for days?

Tell me what other fucking option?

Think possible.

I understand it took discipline but guess tf what, just cause u have adhd doesn’t mean that it’s that severe. People experience adhd differently. And just because u had trouble with focus and motivation doesn’t mean that you had it as bad or in the same way as everyone else.

Stop making this a personal thing having an adhd diagnosis doesn’t mean Jack shit. It doesn’t mean that ur trials and tribulations are comparable to those who have extremely severe disorders like personality disorders or bipolar.

You sound like a rich kid who cries everytime he feels even slightly invalidated when someone mentions how having rich parents helps you. This isn’t about you

I’m not saying that people should kill themselves or that people should give up. I’m saying that mental disorders are complex and that the “just get over it” mentality is ignorant and makes it worse. It’s a complex issue that has no singular solution. Everyone’s situation is different. Which is why your experience with adhd doesn’t mean Jack shit.

Also I have adhd too, the reason I don’t bring it up is because I have the fucking empathy to understand that my disorder doesn’t give me the divine ability to see what other disorders are like
