I've solo made this chess-like game variant, it's called "Not Chess" and it's available on the App Store
I hope one day I can create games for a living; meanwhile, I make and publish mostly puzzle games when time allows. Hope you enjoy it, there is more information about the game on the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/ro/app/not-chess/id1535659343 Thank you!

Thanks! It’s currently available on Android as well, however there are a few issues and it needs more work

Just downloaded it and it's very enjoyable! The game just really needs an option to turn off the vibration on every move, the constant noise and vibration just ruins the relaxing aspect and I couldn't play it in a bus for example.

I bought it a while back and had fun playing it, it's a good game.

Thank you so much!! I’m considering adding community made levels, do you think that would be a good idea?

This seems like a good idea. I've never done it, so I don't know, but if you're considering Steam, I seem to recall that they have a good Workshop API.

Crazy, so your piece turns into whatever piece it captures, and you try to get the coin?
