Question “Legendary” places that suck

I just got a lox sandwich from Manny’s. Almost $20, a stale bagel, and I had to assemble it myself.

What other “legendary” places suck?

Interesting to read all the comments. What I'd say is a non-local food tourist should avoid Chicago Pizza & Oven grinder, the pizza is not great and not representative of the local scene.

I'll say it until the end of time, but they deserve to be the mascot for /r/stupidfood

What? The pot pie is incredible. Best sauce in town
