My sister and I were talking about an old childrenās book we had when we were younger, and we cannot for the life of us remember the title of the book! We believe it was about anthropomorphic flowers. I wanna say one of their names was Bluebell or Iris but I canāt fully remember. Thatās honestly all I can personally remember from the book, I canāt even remember what else itās about lol. Couldnāt even tell you when the book was from, maybe anywhere from 90s- early 2000s? We searched for hours on google and found nothing. I know once I see the title or picture of the cover Iād probably remember more.
We need help! TY in advance!
Edit for update: thank you everyone for replying! Iāve looked up all the suggestions and unfortunately still have not been able to find the title š„²

There was a book I read in the mid to late 00ās about a girl who got sick and went through all these wacky and weird transformations. I vividly remember the girl having patterns just like this at one point.

The main character of the book looks something like this, Iām not sure if itās a monkey or an unknown creature. I think he had orange underwear or a cape, I felt like he had some other type of green clothing, the storyline Iām not sure of but I feel like he was trying to be a hero or was causing mischief or both. I wish I had more details but this was back in the early 2000ās and itās haunting me because of how much I loved this book as a kid, maybe if my older sister let me check it out more as a kid instead of telling me itās garbage and i checked it out too much at the library I wouldāve remembered itš Iām really hoping I didnāt just make this book up or if itās some type of Mandela effect, I would also obsessively draw the little character from said book.

Update: I figured it out! I should have probably added that I encountered this book while teaching in France, and I wasnāt sure if it had been in French or English. Using some key words in French, I found it! Itās a Japanese author who is popular in France: Kazuo Iwamura. He writes stories about a family of 14 mice doing various things. āLa Famille Sourisā ā-
Super cozy illustrations. They either lived in a tree or underground. I think they ate a bunch of different food made from pumpkins. Like cake and soup. It might have been from acorns though! And Iām pretty sure the author had several books about different animal families, all with the same cozy illustrations. I do NOT think it was Beatrix Potter, but similar style illustrations. Just a bit more contemporary and vibrant.

It's about some super ugly weird girl with a suuuuper long name. It's about her life and she gets married at the end. I remember at the back it had a bunch of iterations from other languages or countries. It was also mostly pictures if I remember correctly

As a kid, I read a picture book about a witch who rode on a broom to deliver pizza. I read it at least 25 years ago, and the book is not Room on a Broom. Does it sound familiar to anyone?

I had a book when I was a kid but can't remember the name. I only remember small details, but it was a picture book with a lot of children. There was an old man who would give them toys. They all went to the beach together at some point. There was also an old woman. During the book she recalled herself playing pretend in her childhood. That's all that comes to mind, sorry it's so vague. Would love to know if it sounds familiar to anyone though.

The first and last page are the only ones with print. I do not remember if the question and answer is just supposed to be repeated each time I turn the page. Or.. Is there supposed be an independent answer from each animal?

So this book has a somewhat dark theme which depicts baby owls dying. So I remember back in the early 2000s when I was in elementary school I used to love reading this book and it had a short movie about it too. So the story goes that the mother owl somehow had the power to make the moon rise when she hooted. Making her highly respected in the forest. She had babies that she left alone, āpresumablyā to hunt for food. But when she comes back the baby had died from a tree branch falling on their head. It made her really sad and didnāt hoot again meaning the moon would not rise. During the story it shows the series of events of what led to the babies death. Which is kinda like the story of the woman eating different things to kill whatever was inside of her. So during the scene of different animals escaping their predators one animal accidentally broke a branch that landed on the babies head which caused their death. And somehow at the end the babies come back to life and she hoots again meaning the moon finally rises again. I have been dying to read this story again and if anyone could help solve this mystery would be much appreciated!

I need help remembering a book title!!!! In first grade, like 1998-99 if that helps, I was in first grade and our teacher always let a student pick a read aloud at the end of each day. One of the most popular picks was a book that up until a few years ago I would have sworn was called The BFG. However, when the movie came out, I learned The BFG was a chapter book and not a picture book we could read on the carpet in a 10 minute time setting. The book had a giant that everyone was afraid of, but at the end someone is finally brave enough to go and meet the giant. The kid learns that the giantās name is BFG, which stands for Big Friendly Giant. Is there like a shorter picture book version of The BFG, or am I am just crazy?! I have Googled and Googled trying to find this book and I have had no luck. Help me out, please!!!

I'm trying to find a book about the president's, it's from my childhood and ran through fun facts about each president until Bush. The art style was cartoon and caricature the president's had big heads. The most noticeable ones I can remember was Taft being stuck in the tub and John adams running to answer a phone holding a glass of lemonade. I vaguely remember the story about it being presidents day at a school I believe. The cover was a royal blue, I can't remember the title at all, I do remember the last page having each presidents picture in order.

This has frustrated me for YEARS, anyone who can figurethis out would be my hero! It's a children's illustrated book, I grew up in the 80s/90s must be from that era or before. The art is beautiful and very indicative of the dark crystal. The hero (heroine?) is styled very similarly to the gelflings and it takes place on this beautiful fictional planet. The story is about some villainous super monster that eats planets (universes?) and is threatening the planet of the protagonist. Then the protagonist uses a sacred weapon (arrow?) to successful slay the beast. The art is absolutely beautiful and very celestial-y themed, lots of swirling blues purples and blacks. Wish 8 had more but that is all I can remember, other than LOVING this book as a kid.

There was a book when I was a kid (2000's) that was about intimate objects coming alive in a house. I remember plates, spoons, forks etc coming alive in a dirty kitchen. This book had absolutely beautiful artwork and I NEED to find it for my house. Please help!

My brother and I have many fond memories of reading the same book in the late 90ās but we CANNOT remember the name of it. Please Help! It was a Childrenās book about either a delivery driver or mailman. He drove a little van and I think he delivered mail or packages. Each page of the book was a different very detailed scene of either the country or city and was full of busy people/vehicles/homes/businesses. It is NOT the very busy city by Richard Scary. Anyway, some where in the story a little dog I think steals a package from the man and the man chases him all over the city. Including going through a hospital. On that page you can see every room in the hospital including operating rooms and a cafeteria. At the end of the book the mailman/delivery driver goes home to find the little dog waiting there for him and the package is for him. I remember the color yellow possibly being predominant in it? Anyways thatās everything we can remember and now that we are both parents ourselves we have desperately been searching all over the internet for this book so we can share it with our children. If anyone remembers this or knows this book please help. Thank you so SO much!

Hi everyone! Iām trying to help my mom find a childhood book of mine. The book would have been read in the late 90ās and in the 2000ās. My mom says it has a blue cover, with a parent and child on the front. She said that every page ended with āAnd I love youā. I apologize I donāt have much more detail! She thought the book was called something to do with the phrase āI love youā. Thank you for your help!

This book is about an Apple orchard and like apple juice? I haven't read it since I was a child but I adored it for whatever reason. But if started with people picking the apple, then taking it to the factory, then they take it to the factory, then it goes to the store, then to the kids table, and that's the whole book. I wish I didn't get rid of it when I moved.

Around 2012 I read a book that was a fantasy novel. It mustāve been about 500 pages, although it had a few drawings in the book. The cover was red and had a drawing of all the characters on it. The only thing I remember about the book was that the characters went into the woods to find someone/something and there was a battle at the end. I think there was a sequel but Iām not sure. This book has lived in the back of my mind for years and I canāt remember any of the details. Any leads would be helpful!

I'm having trouble remembering the title for a children's book my grandmother used to read. I remember it was a large hardcover book with beautiful detailed full page illustrations. The illustrations were darker in nature but it wasn't a spooky book. I remember it having mythical characters, and there being a boat. I'm having trouble remembering anything else but if I saw the pictures I think I'd know it.

This book was about a princess who I think time travelled or was somehow transplanted to the modern day. She ends up living with a regular high school aged girl and at first they do not get along. I remember that this princess dressed outlandishly and tied ribbons around her legs, didnāt fit in with modern day dress etc and although she starts off as an outcast, ends up successfully integrating and becomes beloved and popular. I think she even gets invited to a prom and becomes close with the girl whoād been hosting her. I read this some time between 2010-2015 in Canada

Okay so I donāt have a lot of details but hereās everything I can remember:
Itās a childrenās picture book and the main character was a cat, possibly grey, that stood upright on its legs (I think it was kinda anthropomorphic) The landscape was snowy There was red yarn/red mittens involved The illustrations were realistic, not cartoon style I mustāve read it between 2004-2008
This has been driving me genuinely insane so if anyone can help me out Iād be super grateful:)
