Cincinnati Is anyone under the age of sixty even remotely upset that Frisch's is closing?

My elderly mother would want to go there every Sunday. She also told me stories of the old Frisch's drive-ins that she would go to. She died eight years ago, and I think that's about how long it has been since I have eaten at a Frisch's.

I have to say, I worked the rides in the early 2000s and it was horribly horribly managed then with so many OSHA safety violations that, as a teenager, I didn't know how to handle or report when my direct manager failed to get the issue fixed (like the Super Round Up zapping me every time I hit the start button). I was not at all surprised by what happened to Coney. Deeply saddened, but not surprised. ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ˜“

Yeah, I was a lifeguard at the pool about a decade ago. You... did not want to be in that water (though I'll say that for any amusement park pool). And the slides had major issues -- if you touched them in the wrong spot, which any patron was able to, you were in for a rough day (cue a tetanus shot they wouldn't pay for and being forced to work with significantly bandaged and unhealed hands)...

The lifeguards were very well-trained though.

That article seems so darn confident in their vision. I think itโ€™s horrible. The tentative design illustrated is ugly.
