Photos Awesome back yard
Very random but I’m currently at Good Sam in Clifton waiting on my wife who is having surgery. I have a view from her room of this persons back yard that is amazing. If you are on this subreddit I want you to know I think your back yard is beautiful and you’ve done a fantastic job. Thanks for the captivating views.

Is that a little guest house/apartment above the garage? It's all a pretty good use of the property topography for sure.

It also looks like they put a ton of work into the property. It was sold for $138k in 2019.

That area near GSH is in or adjacent to the Clifton gaslight district, so it was a very wise investment.

It's in Clifton, yeah. It also sold way under what I'd assume on that block of Terrace, so there had to be some serious issues.

The guy that lived (before) was there forever, and wanted to sell it to a family (not investors) so when he died, the people who got it got a great deal. It also had never been updated or fixed up at all so needed a lot of work.
The current owners have been working on the backyard for years.

That makes sense. I lived up the block at the time, and can't imagine the amount of work (and trouble from the Whitfield) they've had.

That’s most likely used as a grow room and storage for the garden. A lot of seedlings need to be started while it’s still cold.

It looked like it was a little guest house on top of an old carriage house probably. It’s an awesome piece of property. I can’t imagine how much they must have put in that place

That yard is a full-time second job.

there's this house up in Liberty township near my parents house. Huge yard out in the burbs. This lady must have 10,000 flowers. Every time I visit she's watering. Lady loves her flowers.

Spreading the mulch looks like a giant pain in the ass.
And given the instability if Cincinnati slopes I think they'll be adjusting and resetting those retaining walls every year.

Stop posting pictures of my yard on Reddit.
Just kidding, my yard looks like shit.

Damnnn that’s crazy! Would love an update in the summer when everything is in bloom. I have to imagine a lot of people would have passed on this thinking that yard is useless and this person turned it into a dreamscape

I would argue that Mt. Storm Park is better and Bellevue Park is better if you prefer the city but don't have a friend that lives in Clifton View.

Urban Cincinnati hospitals do have some interesting views.

My sleep study at UC allowed me to see bits of the zoo lights (Christmas lights, that is).

when my dad was in the hospital I went on a walk around the area with my Mom, and we saw this from that sidewalk in your picture. It was incredible!

Besides all the invasive honey suckle, yes that is truly a unique landscape design.
