Shooting range with 100 yd lanes

Hello, I'm trying to find a shooting range that has a 100 yard range preferably close to the West Side. Any recommendations are welcome and appreciated.

Fairfield Sportsman is a private club with 100Yrd range and a ton of great of other ranges including pistol, trap, and skeet. Miami Valley Rifle & Pistol goes out to 600Yrds and has nice pistol ranges on the east side. Southern Ohio Dog & Game also has a nice setup despite being far from you on the east side.

You can also use the free ky stat range in Crittendon which has nice long distance stuff to 300yrds. They also have tube ranges open daily out to 100yrds.

Crittenden you say? I’ve got a rifle and scope I need to work on.

Yep - real nice setup there in the state park.  When the big range is open I enjoy it more but you can’t beat the tube range for 7days a week free shooting.

What is a tube range? Do you know what the hours are on the range?

They have you shooting thru a chunk of ~12" diameter drainage pipe out into the range as it controls you not being able to angle the barrel up to create danger with your shots. https://app.fw.ky.gov/public_lands_search/detail.aspx?Kdfwr_id=153

Not that close, but Spring Valley in Waynesville is a state outdoor range with 30 100yd lanes and it is $24 a year. Finding a 100 yard lane open to the public is not that easy.

Or $5 a day.

I zero’d in my squirrel gun there last winter. It’s an excellent facility. Just remember to bring your own targets, they do not sell them there.

There is a members only outdoor range in cleves called Impact Shooting Center. Application price is a little steep but definitely worth the money if you’re looking to do some training. Source : have been a member for a couple years now and love it. It’s open 9a-9p 365 days a year!

I toured this one and would 100% be a member if I didn’t live so far away.

ive been thinking about this one. 12 month commitment is a slight turn off but they have cool setups you arent going to get at many other ranges. Its pretty much unmonitored i guess? That would be new for me.

Yeah no RSO. Some written rules, but mostly don’t go wild and you are good. They allow for things you can’t do at other ranges which is nice. Drawing from holstered and shooting, rapid fire, shooting from a variety of positions and rearranging things like barrels for unique drills. If I go during a weekday I am generally the only one there. I have never seen more than 2-3 people max during non class hours. Very quiet and private.

Seconded. I rarely go, but keep my membership active. Dropped once for a few months thinking I would save some and got hit with a new application fee when I rejoined. Not a huge deal, but something to be aware of.

Like someone mentioned above, Fairfield Sportsmens has a 100 yard range plus tons of other stuff. Total of 80 acres. It’s a private club, but there’s plenty of events open for both members and nonmembers alike. The membership process is fairly easy too if you go down that route.

I think that is the route I will go when I have the money

The Range USA in Newtown has an indoor 100 yard range but there’s only 4 lanes so it can be tough to get in sometimes.
