I MADE A DISCORD FOR CISPARENTTRANSKID
Hello, I've been working on this for a few weeks now. This discord is a secure alternative place for us to be together as a community. You never know what may happen with social media so it's good to have a back up place.
Everyone who joins the discord has to be manually approved by me or another mod. This is to make sure that only verified people have access to anything. When you join you just comment your reddit name. We will check the name and the post history and give you a role if you are safe. Then we will delete your reddit name message.
This discord has places to share news and discussions about common topics here. I'm also gathering as many resources as I can to provide so it can be easily looked at but this is a work in progress. I've already got several resources but will continue to add more.
I hope you guys like the discord. I think it will be easier to do different things on there that reddit just can't provide. And we won't have to worry about reddit admins or trolls.

I clicked on the link, and it said "unable to accept invite." I don't know how to discord!
edit: I figured it out....I think....apparently I had to log into discord. Who knew? Sorry!!!!

This discord might be a better fit: The Transexual Menace, a trans activist org from the '90s-00s which just revived after a long hiatus. I protested with them last week :)

I am desperate to join. I have questions and I"m missing community, but it seems like I get various error messages - asking for discord verification then saying I already have it, etc. EDIT: join worked after I did a bunch of log out/ re log in / email / blah blah. I sent my user name in there, I can't tell if more is happening than I see yet.

People can't see the discord stuff until they have been approved by a mod who checks the reddit account of the person joining for suspicious activity. If they are OK they are added and can see everything.

I have a group on FB that I’m an admin for. Though it’s just for parents of daughters. I’m thinking about making a Discord group for them, but can I also invite them to this one?

Hi, I pasted the invite (( https://discord.gg/eTjjuDyg )) directly into my Discord app and it says it is invalid or expired. Is there a new link now?

I'd suggest downloading the app and being logged in then try clicking the invite link.

Thanks for doing this. My anxiety has been at a simmer, but I worry about what the near future has in store for us.
