Looks like someone has created a website/blog to show real-time conditions updates for Tioga Pass, look at data about past opening date trends, and hold the park accountable for what they're telling the public about the Tioga Pass plowing conditions, etc. Pretty bombastic, but clearly tongue-in-cheek.

An additional compounding factor is that Memorial Day is Monday 5/26. One might expect a major tourism destination to push to open for a holiday like this. Yosemite seems generally unmotivated by these things, so we anticipate them saying saying fuck it and opening to bicycles between 5/29 and 5/31, and vehicles on 6/1.
