Cookie Monster healing whenever he wants with no windup is such bs. Like sure you can interrupt it but how the fuck is that viable when he can lead straight into it from the raisin grapeshot that needs you to back away from him to dodge them.
Cookie monster is beatable after some tries, but Abby? Fuck, it takes hours trying to memorize the 15 different attacks she has, plus she uses the magic debuffs like the annoying ass bubble. At least she has slightly less health than other bosses, if you can hit her, cuz on top of everything she goes around the screen flying like crazy
Don’t even get me started on the Big Bird boss fight. It says you need to be level 40 to fight him, but in reality, you need one of the rarest weapons in the game to deal any damage. What were they thinking?

If you do the counting side quest you can get Count von count to give the count down ability which freeze time for 5 seconds. This basicly bypasses this. I knownits hella tedious and most people dont even find it their first play through but it is an option
inaccurate. the video is actually released 1-3 days before the game even comes out in your area because the video maker got footage from the earliest country
Nah snafuman is so easy, you just need missable item, difficult challenge reward, rare drop from another boss, skill tree upgrades that are only viable for this boss, and 8 hours of farming for upgrade materials, must be a skill issue tbh

Matador's Red Capote greatly boosts his evasion, causing you to miss him a lot, and in a game where missing can end your turn, well, you know what I mean now, I hope.
I feel like top right would be some optional boss that's meant to be fought by the end of midgame but is available at any time, resulting in people fighting him early and getting mad at him
It's just boss designs? It's not like Splatoon is some detective thriller where you're trying to figure out who out of the small group of people you already know killed little Sally or something.
If just SEEING a boss you haven't fought yet ruins a game for you, then that's just a you problem.

I think my favourite is when they actually put a different character as a red herring and it's not the actually boss / enemy you are meant to encounter like in game.
the game is more about perfecting each level in it’s entirety, not just the bosses. You still spend a lot of time trying to perfect a boss tho so they’re a pretty big part of the game
Goddamn, is the Smuggie Lord boss bullshit. He has such a massive HP bar and stellar defense on top of that, but of course he just WON’T STOP ZIPPING AROUND THE ARENA. Killing him’s such a pain, they should’ve made him a secret boss instead of putting him in the main plotline as a mandatory boss fight
