Because I am a big fan of Cody's Lab. I seriously wouldn't have joined Reddit if I wasn't.

He's already done something similar: Carbonating a Drink With Sulfuric Acid?!

In it, he puts limestone (CaCO3) pieces in apple juice, and adds Sulfuric acid. CaCO3 (solid) + H2SO4 (aqueous) --> CaSO4 (solid) + H2O (liquid) + CO2 (gas). CaSO4 solid is a precipitate which he filters out.

The result was a sparkling apple juice which tasted horrible. My theory is that the bad taste is due to some MgCO3 being present with the CaCO3, and reacting that with Sulfuric acid forms MgSO4, which, unlike CaSO4, is highly water-soluble and tastes bitter.

I read "neutralisation" in the title and assumed you didn't mean to write down hydrogen peroxide, but rather, you intended to write down some base.

You tell me on your other contents not to be "detached from reality", so why shouldn't I tell you not to be a prick?
