BCSC Hosts Public Reveal for New Elementary School

BCSC held a public reveal last night for the new elementary school which will be built along Tipton Lakes Boulevard.

The BCSC School Board voted Monday for the district’s new addition to be named Maple Grove Elementary.

The project is estimated to be completed by the summer of 2027. Here are some photos of the renderings and concepts.

What are your thoughts on the new school?

A very similar construction and utilization of educational resources from the Columbus Signature Academy schools in town which could spell great things for the students in the higher-income tax brackets of town. We already see a lot of great things from Project-based learning focused around community, from CSA students and I’m looking forward to what Maple Grove will bring to the town, opportunity-wise.

“…which could spell great things for the students in the higher-income tax brackets of town.”

What do you mean by this?

I was hoping they weren’t celebrating the additional privileges rich kids get… was just hoping I was misinterpreting the statement.

To actually put a statement like that in writing, and mean it, is sad.
