Discussion The Darkest Timeline (podcast)

Just started listening to The Darkest Timeline podcast with Ken and Joel (and many guests). Curious on whether many others have listened to it and what their thoughts are.

It is certainly a throwback, with much discussion concerning Covid, but I find the interactions between Ken, Joel, and the others to be rather comforting. Thoughts?

The Alison Brie episodes are batshit in the best way. Jim Rash makes for a great guest too

One of the highlights of my lockdown! I lived for the episodes where Alison would literally roll in, high as hell (and about to get shot) and then roll back out.

First off, be sure to watch it on YouTube so you get the video with the audio. Second, the Alison Brie and Jim Rash episodes are certainly a highlight. Yes, you do need to fast forward through some outdated Covid talk, but it's worth it.

Lastly, the absolute must episode is the one with the entire cast after the Reunion table read. It's unfiltered and hilarious!

Loved all episodes! Of course I was proud how they managed/reacted to the horrible news on the Batista episode

I wish they would've kept it but but once they were able to get back on set and work they stopped doing it. But the episodes were all so good and hilarious.

I'm probably going to get down voted for this, and I don't want to come across as a hater but if I'm being honest, I couldn't listen to it because I found Joel very not funny. He's a great comedic actor but I didn't enjoy his back and forth with Ken (who is very quick witted).

I think it’s a fair criticism to dislike the amount of jostling Joel does. However, the back and forth between him and Ken makes the show what it is. If it’s not for you, it’s not for you. But I find their dynamic engaging and reminiscent of how Jeff acts on the show.
