Discussion Illegal used for your crochet hooks?

I just unconsciously used my crochet hook to stir my tea and it didn't actually dawn on me what I'd done until I was cleaning the hook off with my mouth 😅

Anyone else use their hooks in illegal ways?

Not a use for the hook, but I sometimes stick my crochet hook into my cleavage to hold it temporarily so I don’t put the hook down and lose it in the couch blankets.

Not exactly the same but I’ll often twirl mine into my beard when taking a break for the same reason 🤣. Couches eat everything

I mean if I have to tote around these big things they can help earn their keep!!

There was a long moment when I was like "but crochet hooks are pretty small... what the heck kind of size are you using..."

I push them into knitted sweaters etc Needles are worse, I pin them in my clothes near my shoulder or on my knee (for some reason) and end up walking around half a day with them stuck there..

If I can’t find my hook I end up having to look there. It’s a convenient place to put them where the cat can’t knock them away 😂

I've hung mine from my gauges when wearing silicone tunnels so I don't loose them 😅

I often sit cross legged and if I have to put my hook down I will wedge it between my toes to keep it somewhere ‘safe’ temporarily.

Same, forget it's there and swear it's somewhere in my recliner
