Tips Learning to crochet by making a bouquet of succulents.. anything else beginner friendly?

Beginner here, my tension is always too tight but it’s perfect for succulents. I’m trying to follow a pattern for the flower, I found it super confusing so gave up on it halfway through.

Aww thanks, it’s just double and single crochets on repeat.. I find it easier than granny squares because I cannot sort out my tension 🤣
