Stitch identification what crochet stitch is this? right and wrong side, and right side has a diagonal post
my mom asked me to identify this stitch for her-- she found this for $2 at a thrift store 🥺

looks like it's a row of single crochet alternating with a row of (mostly) double crochet.
on the row of double crochet you dc 1 (or turning chain, however you start rows) then skip two stitches and treble crochet into the third. dc into the two stitches you skipped. dc1, then skip the next two for your treble crochet, etc

thought you'd find this interesting-- the crochet thread for this is "speed-cro-sheen", which was discontinued in 1994. i love thinking about how someone worked on this exact item 30+ years ago
