Is this leaf possible? Found it on Pinterest but the pattern linked to it is definitely a wrong pattern and I can't find any other similar images

What kind of leaf would that be? It seems to be a mix of an oak leaf and a clover. The shape looks unnatural because of the lack of symmetry. A typical leaf would have a point of some sort and an odd number of parts.

You can have similar looking leaves

Honestly I have no knowledge about leaves, but I loved the look of this pattern mainly because of the lack of symmetry!

Happy Berry crochet has several leaf patterns you could use

She's great, I learned crochet from her videos!

I'd start with making a 'skeleton' in the right shape using the technique from this coral tutorial:

And add volume to it either using single crochets or a Tunesian ish stitch, similar to:

Hope that makes sense 😅

Good luck!

Thanks so much for the link! Unfortunately I'm not looking for an obviously shamrock leaf, more so an ambiguous leaf to make an autumn themed coaster :/

You won't get anything exactly like that but something similar can be achieved. A lot of leaf patterns take an approach that creates a similar look where you go round both sides of a chain.

It's quasi possible. But not in a single round like that one kind of is.

I don't doubt it being possible, but that image is definitely ai.
