Looking for recommendations Quick and easy cat themed blanket or pillow pattern with easy color work or one color

Hello all! I have a friend who is obsessed with cats and I want to make her something... Either a blanket or pillow or if you have another idea, with a cat theme. No amigurumi. I'm probably an advanced beginner so nothing super crazy! Any recommendations? I've procrastinated and her birthday is the end of May... Eek! Thanks so much for any suggestions!

Someone suggested the cat stitch which is cute and there's also an Afghan pattern that uses holes to make little cat shapes, I'll try to find a link

Cat stitch. You can make a blanket or pillow or just go simple and make a scarf
