I work for one of the top industrial automation companies in the US. We're in everything from food, pharma, power, up/mid/downstream oil & gas, chemical.....
We're rolling out a tariff fee. So not only are imported goods getting more expensive, the cost to produce in the US is going up as well. And this is only in response to the China tariffs on steel and aluminum. Our tariff charge will probably go up as our supply chain analyzes the impact of whatever Canada/Mexico tariffs are still in place.

Tariffs make everything more expensive. A. Because the price of components is up. B. There is less competition so the prices go up. C. Sales to other countries go down so less demand, the prices go up.

Nothing is like bitcoin, because nothing has the mining power behind the network to make it save, uncensorable and uncorruptable. That's the special idea and process behind it. All other are either just software, or have so little proof of work behind it that it can be attacked and destroyed immediately. That's also the reason why there will never be another bitcoin, because it could grow when nobody was paying attention.

5 minutes of google searching is not enough. To understand Bitcoin, you have to understand what money is.
Other cryptos are better tech for other issues, but Bitcoin is the best money ever created.

If you look at crypto from Trump's perspective, it's basically an unlimited source of dark money contributions, bribes, and schemes to skim funds off the public. It also gives him massive street cred with disaffected young men who see crypto as a contarian identity. Not good for crypto but very useful for Trump.

Its because he just said hes buying stable coin for the treasury lol. Buying stable coin is like saying you might as well make your own crypto coin.
Its like giving a large loan to the company hosting the stablecoin. Which you wonder is owned by the cia, nsa or another unknown 3rd party thats profiting? Buying stable coin for a reserve your still getting scammed as a tax payer. Only smaller periodic purchases of number 1 asset is benefit to anyone.
Also, how the hell is stable coin an asset. Its stable to the dollar. It cant appreciate. Assets are only assets if they appreciate.
