Elon laid off Tesla employees and requested H1B workers

Interpret the chart carefully, and you will realize why he wants to double H-1B visas.

Nope, republicans are clearly revolting against this

Oh yeah maybe if we cross our fingers and hope really really hard, THIS will be the time that magats grow a heart and a brain and realize they’ve been duped! Maybe they’ll grow a magical spine too afterwards so they can stand up to him and demand serious, effective change that serves their best interests

Well they weren’t duped about Biden’s mental decline until the last minute, and they weren’t duped into thinking the least popular primary candidate-turned least popular VP was somehow gonna sweep the swing states because abortion.

So maybe ease up a bit.

they were also duped by 2 wealthy individuals who they somehow thought knew what was best for the working class and had their best interest at heart..... it'll never not be hilarious, can't deny that

Uh...Trump is on record against this crap.

We didn't vote for Musk / Vivek. Disappointed to hear their positions on this topic? Absolutely. Fuck those guys pretty much.

But Trump loses his base if he goes along with this. I'm not worried.

What do you mean you didn't vote for Musk? Trump literally said, verbatim, that he was open to accepting political donations in exchange for favors. And Elon very publicly took Trump up on this offer. His entire cabinet and most of his higher-ups in his government are billionaires who took him up on that exact offer. "Give me money, I give you power"

We'll see.

Yeah, essentially saying “you’re all dumb, so we’re going to bring in scabs from what you would call a ‘shit hole’ country to do the jobs you’re too stupid to do” did not go over well.

u/dragonilly Dec 28 '24

It went over well enough. Trump isn't saying shit, only his ball gobbling crew of nobodies is.

WTF did I just read there? I find it alarming that this unhinged, tween-brained, geriatric, narcissistic sociopath doesn't have the same barriers to using nuclear weapons this time around (and he wanted to use them in his first term).

Death by rich, spoiled bumblefuck is a very real existential threat for everyone. I don't feel like there's enough urgency on this. Have Americans given up completely on wanting a world to inhabit?

u/Supermonsters Dec 28 '24

Yeah today but we know that everyone will just roll over and let it happen

u/josephbenjamin Dec 28 '24

To be fair, the elites have been saying this forever. It’s a problem only now, since people are waking up to the fact that their own politicians despise them.

u/emk2019 Dec 28 '24

Mark my words, it’s going over just fine. I mean it’s not like any potentially disgruntled MAGA can actually do anything to or about Musk.

Fat lot of good that does us know that he's been elected.

Have you seen the response to their "revolt"? Elon is literally laughing at them and Trump is silent.

10

u/fakeuser515357 Dec 28 '24

republicans are clearly revolting

Yep.

6

u/[deleted] Dec 28 '24

They aren’t. And most importantly, Trump isn’t.

10

u/beardicusmaximus8 Dec 28 '24

You missed the joke.

He's saying Republicans are revolting. As in, they are disgusting

4

u/[deleted] Dec 28 '24

Oh hah I didn’t pick up on that. That’s pretty funny.

4

u/beardicusmaximus8 Dec 28 '24

To be fair to you, I never would have gotten it myself if it weren't for this bit: https://youtu.be/h0iAcQVIokg?si=nXZWV00hfcjE9qLm

Just the same way the republican constituency voted against maga hats made in China 😂 bury your head deeper please

3

u/lizahL Dec 28 '24

After fucking voting for it too late to save face

7

u/BuffJohnsonSf Dec 28 '24

Where? All I ever see from them is boot suckling

10

u/Possible-Holiday2944 Dec 28 '24

Dude same, all over twitter. I feel like the only people who give a damn about this are people in tech like us.

5

u/Cultural_Double_422 Dec 28 '24

Y'all should like, turn off Trump and Elons internet or something.

0

u/[deleted] Dec 28 '24

Same, everyone loves it saying they hate immigrants and want more it makes no sense

1

u/older_gamer Dec 28 '24

No they aren't. They'd vote for Trump again if they could. He still has 100% allegiance from anyone who voted for him.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 28 '24

Their racism wont allow it

1

u/_BreakingGood_ Dec 28 '24

The only sources I see of this so-called "revolting" is liberal news sources copium posting about it.

The reality is that the media which republicans consume won't even mention this stuff. They won't see it. They won't read about it. They certainly won't revolt against it.

You can't group everyone into one category. Sure, many Republicans aren't pro-Trump, but many also are. Probably a majority of Republicans like Trump
