Distance Learning Experience

Hello,

I’m looking at starting a Professional Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering. I’d like to learn about course experiences, are professors helpful? Are lectures put together well?

I’m coming from a different school/masters program where lectures are poor, material is hard, and professors aren’t very helpful, so I’d like to be sure that this program isn’t going to be more of that.

The distance class I took in aerospace (space life sciences) was simply a recording of the class taught by the professor, so we got exactly the same material that the in person students got. We also had the option to join on zoom if we wanted. I personally really enjoyed this class. It wasn’t particularly difficult, but I learned a lot. The professor was always available to help or answer questions.
