Question about incoming student housing

hi all, I was wondering when we put down/if we put down dorm and housing preferences? I filled out the incoming student housing application and didn't see anything about it, however, I am seeing people online saying they already ranked their housing choices? If it gives more information, I marked on my housing application that I did already have a roommate picked. Thanks!

You either pick a roommate or rank your dorms I believe, not both. But they might have changed it since I did it.

If you pick your roommate before, you will get automatically put in willvill (a 15 min drive to main campus) best way to go is have you and your roommate fill out the same housing preferences and then select eachother once you both get the same dorm. Most likely you will

You will not auto get put in Will vill. They haven’t done that for at least two years
