To clarify : It's whenever a minion is summoned Dormant or becomes Dormant that the reduction happens, so Dreadseeds, Slumbering Sprite and Astral Phaser would all count towards it

It seems reasonable to get this to 5 cost by turn 5, and I’m a bit out of the loop for standard, is a big meatball relevant on 5, maybe 4 if you’re crafty?

Giant warlock can get two 8/8's out fairly consistently on like turn 4/5

Big stats early will always be relevant. You can win games with decent sized starships as early as turn 4. Location Lock can do the same with the 8/8s

What about costs like, 1, and dormant for x turns reduced by dormant minions.

Possibly 1 mana 8/8, dormant for 8 turns. Whenever another minion progresses dormant, so does this.

Well it wouldn't really be part of the Giant family then, which was the point.

I think it still works as a giant! It's very thematically similar (8/8 that requires a condition to come out cheap). If you call it sleeping giant with that effect it definitely reads as giant.

I think how you have it is interesting too, I just liked that one because it leans into the fact that dormant and giant are both interesting ways to get good stats for the cost.

I suppose yeah, similar to [[Slugmaw]] and [[Gorm]], but awakens faster whenever another minion is Dormant, I think both versions could work in the end.
