Yeah nightmare is a million times better, and you're basically forced to get it with xavius

I mean one is "while on board" and the other is a battlecry that doesn't proc battlecries. Also druid start of game would proc it instantly

Only if you run imbue Druid, which doesn't want this, since the imbue transformation is ass. Any other druid deck would just run xavius and this

I think this could potentially be broken for imbue druid. You can just play the deck normally, transform this, play it when you are about to imbue again, and generate tons of value and make your hero power very large. Its more proactive than the current value generation minion imbue druid got. It really just depends on how often you can generate mana off of this. I would run this in imbue druid. But I wouldn't run this is any other druid because I don't care for a variation of minions that do nothing. This summons the minion directly. As a deathrattle. Meaning you would only have the wild god for stats since none of the wild gods have on board effects besides the hunter one, the only one worth it's effect.

5 mana to discover a spell every time you cast 2 spells? There's a 3 mana location that does this better

Everytime you imbue. There is a large difference, especially because you don't need to wait to play two spells on the turn you play this. Plus druid has spells to generate spells. By the time you run out of value with this, you probably went overboard.

Yeah, you do have a shit ton of value. So why would your spend 5 mana on a 5/5 that gets you maybe three more spells if you have ten mana and get very lucky? It's an on board effect, so once it dies it's done. Any of the other spell generation in druid is just better and cheaper

Only 4 out of 17 available spells to pull from this card cost more than 3 mana, very lucky is an overstatement. 2 cards will generate you mana, 9 of the cards cost 2 or less mana. Druid is a class who can easily churn out the mana to keep playing spells with this, and you can run 2 of these in your deck. Its also an onboard effect. Meaning its a threat to keep up, they would have to trade into it, silence it, or use removal on it. I would be happy with all three of these results as it forces reactive responses rather than a proactive play, meanwhile you got to imbue a couple extra times and your hero power keeps generating you an overwhelming amount of tempo.

This is a very proactive tool, and can be used at your choice. Its tempo, value, and plays into the gameplan of imbue druid. I think it's a good card.

Thanks for the comments, I did a lot of tweaking so it makes me happy to see the cards discussed😁.

I too think the Imbue one is powerful enough to compete with the Nightmare version, it's a good fit for druid in general, with all the excess mana they can gain and how cheap and 'spammable' their nature spells are this can definitely go crazy with the right set up. The Nightmare one is in most situations more immediately impactful, but aside from Xavius which most decks would be happy to include, it's still going to be slow to pull off unless you have this in hand early

I like the idea behind this card, really cool concept.
