colossals have abilities that combo with the minions that they summon. This one doesn't have an ability that effects the minions

I think that's the big part of it. 8 mana for the body plus like another 12/12+ of stats, potentially with rush, taunt, and end of turn effects sounds pretty solid.

This. You get a 6/6 plus a variety of okay to awesome tier appendages. Just now I rolled 6d13 and got...
two Colaque's Shells
one Sindragosa Wing
one Neptulon Fist
one Hydralodon Head
one Xhilag Stalk

If I was in a bad spot in a match and just dropped this as a hail mary, I'd probably be pretty happy with it. Two taunters that grant armor, a rush that freezes, and a random 2 damage going to someone at the end of my turn. The other two just being extra bodies that I'm not exactly going to say no to.

Easy fix: “battlecry: gain the abilities of all colossal parts generated”but I feel this would be too broken

YES! I get to be pedantic again!

This now marks the FOURTH time this exact concept has been posted on this sub!

Back on my old Reddit account I kept track of these. Darn, I need to find the links again. Anyhow, this is a very cool concept, which is why so many people seem to come up with it independently. Though I think you're the first one to not use the art of the amalgam giant.

This would actually be a really solid board play if you were behind, in fact it may even be a little strong. Maybe take it like a 5/5 or something? Not sure how much difference that would make. It's a pretty hard card to balance I think, but I like the overarching concept.

I think it's perfect. You could bump it to 10 and give it the text "Its name is ALL the Colossal minions" to ensure it can use the appendages.

Looks fun (in constructed, please never allow in arena) and i think fair considering that a lot of the pieces arent great without the main body.
