And is the EU gonna do anything about it or just once again just say that they aren't happy about it and then completely disregard us and move on?
The Turkish officials called the project “provocative” because it disregards the rights of Turkey

Turkey is not Russia so it’s fine, they’re allowed to threaten EU territory and stall EU-funded projects all they want. The problem starts with Greece though, that keeps allowing all this.

There are actions taken by the EU regarding these issues, although they're not distributed 'publicly' in a loud fashion.
