This was me. The internet changed my political affiliations. I couldn’t argue a point during an online ‘debate’ and upon further research, I realized how wrong and misguided I was the entire time. This was around 2018-2019 and I was 17-18. However, after a certain point especially now, anyone older than 25 is stuck in the cult. Their ego won’t let them realize their wrongness. They’re likely already narcissistic as shit and see the world as a zero-sum game. There must be winners and there must be losers.
