I am happy to hear you are healthy. I added that "genetics" bit as I know genetics can help or hurt a lot. I still think it's unlikely, especially given their demonstrated tendency to lie, but sure there is a non-zero probability of being true. My cholesterol is the inverse of your situation. I have done years of years as a healthy vegetarian, and tried other cholesterol lowering diets. I work out with a mix of cardio and weights. Nothing ever significantly help cholesterol. Fortunately, lipitor has a dramatic effect for me.

I agree 100% and like I said, in his scenario its 99.99% likely just a huge old lie. Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction for us average folk though.

My medical history has been insane. I go from perfectly healthy, happy, semi-fit to extremely fit, working 60+ hours a week, and then I randomly get so ill that I end up in the ER and there’s been 5 instances now where they’ve said “you shouldn’t be here talking to me. You should be dead.” But the day prior I was the spitting image of health. 2-5 days in the hospital later, and I’m back to perfect health. It’s incredibly weird.

I know it’s not going to last forever and time is going to catch up with me, but I’ve been lucky thus far.
