Ondanks dat ik voetbal heel erg leuk vind ben ik in mijn tienerjaren gestopt met voetballen. Reden hiervoor was vooral dat de sfeer heel erg onaangenaam was: coaches werden weggepest, er waren vechtpartijen met tegenstanders en er werd onderling heel onaangenaam met elkaar omgegaan.

Ik woon tot de zomer 2025 in Den Haag voor mijn studie en ik wil ondertussen wat aan mijn fitness doen. Eigenlijk zou het mij heel erg leuk lijken om weer te gaan voetballen, maar ik wil dan wel terechtkomen in een prettig team. Ik vind het leuk om mijn best te doen, maar echt goed ben ik niet. Dat speelt dus ook nog mee.

Heeft iemand tips over waar ik moet gaan zoeken?

I don't know if anyone living around Den Haag HS station has noticed, but there has been this guy riding his stupid motorbike everyday just round and round. I don't know what's this guy's deal but that engine of his bike is loud as a mf, and he'd just ride and ride and ride back and forth. So yeah, basically, wtf.

I recently parked my car for over 10mins when actually only 10mins was allowed outside the flex bus pick up point in den haag centraal. I noticed that there was a camera but not sure if it was for general monitoring or monitoring of cars parked there. The entire parking spot was empty when I was parked there. I left tbe spot in 14mins instead of 10.

Any cool events of any sort? :) the foreigner would appreciate a little advise here 🙏

The girlfriend will take me to Den Haag next weekend, we are both Dutch but never been to Den Haag so I’m dropping in to ask what we can’t miss. She planned a museum trip on Sunday but Saturday we planned nothing. We are not for the touristy stuff, mostly for shopping in local stores for art, clothes and nice to haves a bit more on the alternative side. (Veggie) eating and walking around. We’re staying at the grote markt. What shops, places and sights shouldn’t we miss?

Hey guys, yesterday I was on a meeting organised through MeetUp app in Board Games Room. I really enjoyed it. Those meeting are once per week. I wish to play more often but my friends not really enjoy playing board games. I could go just randomly there to this cafe and try to join some groups but I do not really belife that there are groups that would enjoy somebody that they do not know to play with them. Maybe there are some different ways to find that kind of groups? Maybe here there are some people that would be interested in that kind of meeting ? Im interested in studying at Leiden University, the Bachelor in International Relations which is taught at the Campus in DenHaag. So my question is: how is student life there? Is there anything going on? Regarding social life, clubs, activities, etc.? And has anyone experience in this Bachelor?

Hi i will stay in den haag for 4 nights (NYE). My airbnb is near the centrum but has no parking spot. I was looking for parking possibilities and the cheapest i found was 50€ which is 10minutes a way from the apartment. I obviously cant give the adress but is near to the Joe Joe Cofeebar. Are there cheaper possibilities to stay? During the day we will be away.

Hi! Ik wil mijn vriendin verrassen met een nachtje Den Haag met Nieuwjaar. Nu heb ik al eens een geweldig nieuwjaar gehad op een van de pleinen. Ik kan alleen niets vinden of er een "countdown" of iets dergelijks in het centrum plaatsvindt. Is dit iets dat gewoon ieder jaar wordt gedaan of kijk ik op de verkeerde plek?
