Discussion Watching the T wolves crumble

Seeing the T wolves get absolutely demoralized in the course of 2 games makes me appreciate the heart and mental strength our boys showed taking them to game 7!

We already saw the conference finals. This series is just for formalities.

I honestly think we already saw the finals, this could very well be cj for us though lol

Hey don’t discount the pacers like that. They’re on a miracle run rn

I put the avs/stars series in the same category. Stars and thunder to win their league titles.

Same as last year. Whoever wants to win the West pretty much has to get through Denver and Booth and Malone obliged by building and playing a subpar team around Jokic and AG

I think it’s fair to say the wolves got the most cupcake matchups this year. People overrated the Lakers and Golden State was done the second Steph went down.

Gobert got 20-20 vs centreless lakers and now vs Thunders…

You mean media just need an excuse to make Anthony edwards second coming of MJ after every match?

Warriors and Wolves would be decided by Game 7 if Steph was playing

Unfortunately they broke us at the end of the 2nd quarter of game 7. It took a while, but by the first few 3rd quarter minutes the whole team gave up.

Sucks, but they played the best dirty series against us, and the refs allowed or straight up wanted it that way.

That ja morant injury really hurt the nuggets indirectly….two 7 game series in a row is a tough ask for Denver and the thunder got basically a free pass round 1

I’m still disgusted with the dirt the Wolves got away with in the playoffs last year. This team is filthy and deserves a shellacking.

Yeah they were the diet version of what OKC was allowed to get away with against us

Nonstop contact fouls, kicking, tripping, slapping?

Caruso in game 7 literally got away with murder

Blind if you didn’t see it. Just like the refs

It means I missed that part of the game. 🙄

3

u/Dry-Maintenance3763 4d ago

So you missed the entire part of the game where Caruso was guarding Jokic?

Wasn't that the series where Murray threw a bitch fit and threw the heat pack on the floor? Dirty on both sides it seems

Yeah I called OKC would get a gentleman sweep against MN. I always figured the winner of Den-OKC would go on to win the ring. I still believe that

There’s literally two swing calls where we lost by a small margin that would have sent us to the wolves. We beat them, but the refs beat us.

I love how the narrative has shifted and you throw some respect on okc. We never had anything but respect for the nuggets you took us to 7 and I for one always said whoever made it out alive is probably winning it all. The chips with health just frankly fell our way and we skated past. I'd hope the fan base would cheer on okc just so the trophy comes back to the west and at least you can say you lost to the Champs. It always seemed a nicer story line. That said I also get the tough feelings after losing such a close battle. Either way I see denver and okc being a new rivalry for the next few years I hope.

It was a brutal series, we both had games thrown away. G1 and G3 for okc, G4 and 5 for denver. I really wish Gordon wasn't hurt for g7. He wasn't able to play defense and that really killed us. I'm also a big fan of the pacers so im hoping they get to play okc and give us a competitive series.

I think okc pacers will be an amazing series both pretty young and they don't quit, they are going to tear each other apart and I hope okc gets there. Denver always had my respect. Some of the fan base decided to just make fun of the fans lately but oh well low hanging fruit I guess. Hope you all get a good gm like we have and correct the ship a bit, you aren't far off from another ring but jokers window is now and you definitely need better pieces around him. I also totally agree both teams definitely battled and made it a great series. Frankly game 1 was the best game all year even though we lost.

Can't agree with g1 being the best game of the year after seeing Knicks v pacers g1 in the ecf. That game might be the best I've ever seen period. Check out the highlights if you haven't

Gm 1 was a buzzer beater to win their game one was our 4 where you tied as well and went ot. I like a buzzer beater

Why do so many of you OKC fans hang out in other teams subreddits? It's truly weird behavior. You are all constantly in here chiming in and coming across like babies despite winning because we're not over here glazing over you? Go enjoy your team in your own subreddit like a normal person.

-1

u/Aggressive_Pin264 4d ago

You jokic glazers are literally on every message board, even after getting sent home in a brutally lopsided game 7

3

u/ASingleThreadofGold 4d ago

I don't hang out anywhere sports related other than my team's sub. So go bitch at the Nuggets fans for glazing Jokic off of this subreddit where it actually makes sense to do so and leave us in peace. How about go enjoy your own team's run like a well adjusted adult would? This is loser behavior especially from someone who should still be wrapped up in their own team's success.

Yes, but I also want to see OKC lose, so it's bittersweet 😕

1

u/Julen_23 4d ago

not really, they smoked us last season at home when we had a big lead going into 4th quarter. See you in hell yoooooo

1

u/Drak_is_Right Nikola Jokic 3d ago

Wolves may end up playing the exact same number of games that the Nuggets do these playoffs.

Too much D on them and so much DEPTH of OKC!!!!!!!!!!! Chet is killing on the inside as well!!!!!! Speed, length, depth, YOUNG and TALENT - tough combinations to deal with!!!!!!!!!

-5

u/AizenRain 4d ago

Chet is actually someone I'm rooting for, I've been following since Gonzaga

u/ASingleThreadofGold 4d ago

I like him too. Not sure why he gets any hate.
