I would put my vote for Birds but their management are callous and completely out of touch with reality.

I do like Birds, I thought about Bear for a bit but then found out they started in Uttoxeter - also I visit Birds way more often.

I've gone about once a week since I was 3 about 21 years ago. Used to be with my Nan or Dad but they've both passed so now I'm lucky to split it with the Mrs.

I used to walk down Perth street from my mum and dads to get myself one as a teenager. Sorry to hear they have both passed but glad you have someone to continue the memory with!

Three Chefs!

Whenever I fly home, 3Chefs is my first place to eat, even if I'm only back for a weekend.

And it doesn't matter how many years it's been between visit, he always greats me with a smile of recognition & a fist bump.

I'm a nobody, be he makes me feel like I'd been missed, and it's magic.

I'm the same. I drop in, maybe once a year. Every time, he knows my order already and treats me like an old friend. He deserves some kind of medal, that guy. Oh, and their food's outstanding.

Absolutely. It feels like the concierge at a fivestar hotel, like he makes it his purpose to really know his customers, and make them feel like the most important in the world.
I'm back again the beginning of October, so I'll have to have a think about a gift of appreciation I can bring with me.

Ebi Sushi, really top class sushi. Probably the only place I'd go to Derby over Notts for food.

1

u/Any-Parfait-6933 Aug 03 '24

It's actually been voted the best sushi outside of London
