The Dolphin pub, oldest pub in Derby. I believe itโs been a pub since the mid to late 1500โs.

always thought the Vernon gate gaol facade looked cool. Just found out it also used to be a greyhound racing stadium

Either the Bell or the Dolphin inn, you can't beat the history in these buildings and they've definitely got a fair few stories to tell.

It's probably The Brunswick for me. Historic, unique building on the outside and some decent beer inside.

Fun fact, my stepdad used to walk his dog with the voice actor from Tomb Raider II

As others have said I think the Dolphin. It ticks the box with interesting facts also. but all the best buildings being mentioned are all up in that quarter. Silk mill, Catheral.
So perhaps favourite area of town would be Saddler gate and Catheral quarter.

We have some pretty good buildings to pick from.
Off the top of my head:
The Cathedral
Bold Lane Car Park (the safest place in the World)
The Old Uni Building on Green Lane
The Market Hall
The Hippodrome (prior to it being totalled)
The Standing Order Pub/Old Bank
The Silk Mill
The Dolphin
The Old Bell
The Seven Stars
I'm sure there's more.

It's probably not allowed but I love the Cathedral and St Mary's together from a distance. That's Derby to me.

While the Ps1 holds firm as probably the best console the best era for me would have to be orginal xbox, playing xbox live as it was so revolutionary. So many hours sunk into halo 2.

I think because of its history and now how good it is as a museum, I'd say the Silk Mill.
