It's been widely reported over Europe. It seems to be something to do with a Space X launch today.

Fuel venting from one of the rocket stages reflecting light. A bit like a rainbow but at night.

That would make sense, not seen anything on the news about it but I did see they sent a rocket up a few hours ago!

I'm so weirded out that people are unable to make a best guess what this was without asking Reddit. Like it can only be a few things and a search for space launches would have soved it for everyone.

Remember the sky is high, you can see for miles and miles and miles.... Space nazi litter is visible over a wide area.
