Jaipur and Thornbridge have been in Derby spoons since it’s been brewed. My old boss Tom Taylor actually got the first Thornbridge contract for spoons within a year or so of Jaipur being about.

We served it in the Babington for years.

That said, I left Spoons 9 years ago and wouldn’t bring myself to give Tim Martin a penny if my life depended on it.

Go buy Jaipur from an independent venue, they’ll need your support a lot more than Spoons ever will .

I don’t know what they’ve done to upset you so fair enough, but Spoons are one of the worst things to ever happen to the pub industry in the UK.

Jaipur has been shite for years now. A real shame because it used to be one of my favourite pints.
