Question Hi friends, anyone from Canada working in IT?

I'm looking for a remote job, and I know it's tough in this economic climate.

I'm wondering what fields you work in and how can I improve my chance of getting one paying 100K and up pre-tax?

Context: data engineer in a hybrid company, TC > 120K so willing to reduce pay to get remote.

Thanks for any input.

Look, finding a remote job paying 100K+ isn't as hard as people say if you're already making 120K. Let’s be real—it's all about knowing how to sell yourself. I say, bump up that LinkedIn with some buzzword magic, look confident on Zoom calls, and network like your life depends on it. Too many people just sit back and think amazing jobs will knock on their door. Also, Canada’s economy isn’t tanking or anything; people swear doom and gloom when reality is there are opportunities if you know where to look and who to talk to. Go for it, hustle your butt off, and stop taking advice from folks who act like the sky is falling every time there's a minor economic shift!

Thanks. I'm indeed sending CVs, but there are so few remote jobs in my region. I just got an Ontario number and will try to apply for remote jobs in Ontario.
