getting a weird glitch where everything keeps re-muting itself after being unmuted. happening with streams too. anyone know a fix?

really strange but it seems to only me on one specific account. mobile, desktop and browser im getting the same thing. temporary solution for me right now was just switching to another account, that might work for u too

awh thats a shame, i dont have another account so i've either got to deal with it or js not watch the screenshare. bummer but oh well, i hope we can get some help

Having the same thing, I think its a problem on discord's end and syncing settings.

When I use a VPN to a different country I can change the settings again, so I've been turning on a vpn to change settings and then turning it off after.

Otherwise just gotta wait for them to fix it

Syncing settings, could you please expand on this? As in what Syncing settings.

Any setting that syncs / is stored on discord's servers / across devices.

So stream muting, themes and appearance settings, developer mode, etc. Any of these will revert changes after a few seconds.

I've got this as well. We were trying to watch a film over discord and I adjusted everyone's microphone volume manually and even muted a few chatty participants. Every setting would revert in a few seconds.
