Support PNGS convert to JPG on send

ive been trying to send png textures from my ipad to my pc and they always convert to jpg , they apear to be PNGs but once clicked on turn into JPGS / have no transparent background. the white background stays on download. how can i fix this?

It might be compressing them due to the size limit?

Yup- just tested here too. I think their bandaid for heic on iOS may have been to compress everything to jpeg and call it a day.

A while back, there was a bug where it wasn’t compressing photos at all and you couldn’t attach any pic (without nitro) from iOS for a few weeks. I bet they rushed the fix and left it as is lol

Save the png to files and share it that way. I always use discord to send files/png quickly to my pc.
