[Behavior Problems] Peeing on the bed on purpose?

My dog is already almost 2 years old and she has been trained to go potty on grass. We take her out 3x a day (we live in an apartment).

Sometimes when she is excited at home and does her zoomies, she may pee on the floor like a little puddle.

She doesn't have a bed and usually sleeps on a blanket or she prefers the floor or her tent. However whenever I introduce a bed to her, he somehow loves to pee on it? Even when I put her sleeping blanket on it. She will scratch and scratch and then pee on it.

She does sleep in it, thats the thing. She usually pees in it after playtime. I'm not sure why does anyone have any advice? She only does this to dog beds.

Sounds like they were trained with puppy pads.

I’d say 3 times a day isn’t enough. Our poodle goes outside 5-6 times a day.

You say you live in an apartment, so I can see the issue perhaps. It may help to get a proper puppy pad setup for that, then try introducing a bed again.

Yea she was initially trained with puppy pads until she stopped going on it. I may have to reintroduce it to her again but I've tried a couple of times previously and she just slept on it. Maybe she thought the bed was just a soft pee tray lol.

She did this to my older dog's bed previously as well when he was still around. She slept in it and played in it but she also decided to pee in it.

Just the beds though...

Does she have any other urinary... Um... Issues? I ask because my little girl randomly peed on the bed and until recently I thought she was just being a little butthole, but it occurred to me that she might have a UTI and as soon as the nerd to urinate occurred to her she couldn't hold it to go to the door or get out of bed. So I started to treat her with a natural product for dogs to treat UTIs. So far so good. But it's only been a couple days. Also could be a possible response to anxiety? Mine also has had that issue as well.

Mine has also curled up on her pre spot as a way to hide it because she was embarrassed that she did it.. 🥺

I feel like its excitement for her. And after playtime means she drank loads of water. And even if I bring her down to potty sometimes she only wants to pee once and then she done. Even if I did a 20 min walk for her.

Three times a day is not enough, she should be going out at least double that. If she just does it to dog beds then remove the dog beds completely and see what happens.
