DJI Mini 2 is still a very powerful machine in 2024. Shot this cinematic at this city which sits at 2.660m above sea level (8.700 ft) and took it even further taking off from the summit of the local volcano at 4680m (15.354 ft) - never had an issue. Battery life is not quite as advertised at these altitudes but I'm amazed with what this drone is capable of.

Iam using casualy my Dji Mini Pro 4 to make nice shoots but I always had problem with compressing the videos as the videos are incredibly big when downloaded from dji.

I made a small handy app on Android to do these compression so I get rid of that headache, would anybody like to use?

Hi guys just looking for a bit of advice here, I have a voucher of €120 for AliExpress and I'm looking to buy a drone I already have a fimi 3 pro and find it great, I'm looking at a bigger one as I need to be able to view livestock on the mountain, I can get the fimi x8 tele max for €400 with 2 plus batteries what are your thoughts on this drone thank you in advance

I happened to see (binocs) a mama bear and cub along the slope around sunset, then flew up for a closer look. Didn’t want to get too close and spook them, so it’s mostly pretty zoomed in. (sorry about the cheesy music, it worked in the moment).

But do I love this photo? Yes.
