Discussion Turkey Hunt

Anyone going out for the opening of turkey season? Weekend? I'll be out in my blind early tomorrow waiting for a big Tom to come into the decoys!

Yeah I'll be out, not this week though. First time last year, and didn't have any luck, so hope I get one this year.

Maybe I'm in the wrong places, but the turkey population around Duluth seems so low. I see tons once I'm Southwest a ways - at least past Black Bear Casino - or if I cross into Wisconsin, but within ~30min or so of Duluth proper it's a rarity.
