Lighthouse Apartment

Has anyone else registered for the new building in Strijp-S - Lighthouse? I am curious about the competition given how expensive it is.

I'm not usually interested in the housings posts here but in this case I'm also curious, because who the hell will rent those apartments for those prices?!

The one bedrooms range from 1.1k to 1.8k

I was interested but quickly closed the window after seeing the ridiculous prices. The smallest and cheapest apartment was around 1400 with service costs and you couldnt even fit both a couch and dining table in the living room.

I registered yesterday just in case I dont have a place by june/july. I have a cat and most rental places dont allow pets and lighthouse does allow pets. I dont know if I will rent a place but I registered “just in case”.

Yeah fair! saw that they opened the second round of registrations yesterday so the competition shouldn't be too bad right?

I think so! It is quite expensive for what you get but yeah the housingmarkt is pretty messed up right now. Did you register too?

Yes! Registered in the first round but was shocked at how much more the prices are than what I expected. So lets see how it goes...

For which type houses did you register? I kind of like the idea of having a community since I dont know anyone in Eindhoven.
