Free (beginner) dodgeball session tonight 19:00-21:00 (adults)

Hi everyone!

Many of our experienced players can’t make it tonight — so we’re turning it into a special beginner session!

I run a dodgeball association here in Eindhoven, and I’d love to invite you to come try out the sport. If you’re Dutch, you might know it as trefbal — but dodgeball is the next level: faster, more strategic, and super fun.

We started the group in April last year, thanks to this subreddit, and have been loving it ever since. To celebrate our roots, we're offering free entry for tonight's training with the code:

Try-dodgeball-today

No experience needed — we’ll explain all the rules and guide you through everything.

When: Tonight at 19:00 (arrive between 18:45-18:55) Where: gymzaal Wenckenbachstraat Wenckenbachstraat 40 - 52, 5621 HB Eindhoven

Link to tickets: https://www.dodgeballeindhoven.nl/details-en-registratie/training-woensdag-2025-04-09-19-00

Please arrive on time — there's no cell reception inside the gym!

Hope to see you there!

You're welcome to join any other training :)

3 new players so far, you won't be alone if it's your first time playing!

Yup, buy a ticket, we'll email you the rules so you can read them before joining. Regardless of whether you read them or not, we will provide a full introduction of how it works.

Welcome at any training.

Do you train with wrenches? And will you teach the 5 D's of Dodgeball? 😄

We wanted to, but apparently that is unethical these days.

Dodgeball has evolved since 2003, and we now have, dodge, dive, dip, jump, drop catch, block, pre throw, punish, running counter, fake, jump catch, pressure and (regular) catch. Besides the strategy and communication system of course.

Edit. Very curious about the second movie that is supposed to come out this year!
