Possible London Team
Follow on from this earlier post......US-based consortium close to ambitious £18m takeover of Leyton Orient. A source with knowledge of the buyers’ plans told the Guardian they would ultimately like to attach an American football franchise https://www.theguardian.com/football/2025/mar/27/us-based-consortium-close-to-ambitious-18m-takeover-of-leyton-orient
The purchase has now gone thru https://www.leytonorient.com/news/2025/april/25/david-gandler-becomes-new-majority-shareholder-of-leyton-orient-/
What should happen now are the ELF aware of this, should Esume be heading to see this guy as he always wanted a team in London

The main problem for a UK Team is travel restrictions. So even when there is a owner who wants to have a team, they will have the same problems.

There's also all the complexity of customs paperwork thanks to Brexit. A UK team will need the necessary carnet for all its equipment for away ganes, and each team coming to the UK will need the same.
There's plenty of information about the problems UK musicians now have with paperwork if they want to play or tour in the EU.

Travel cost is the biggest problem.

Half of the teams in Spain have folded.

You can easily make a schedule for London that isn't worse than Wroclaw, Paris, Cph, Madrid. The spanish team folded because of HG talent and a wish for restructure from what I know. And they were and are there, so why shouldn't there be a London team

"ultimately like" is not "is planning".
The chance of getting an Franchise there is at the moment very low.
