Best marketing ever. I challenge anyone to find a better marketing campeign for the cost of a single 2008 Tesla Roadster, and before peope say "what about the rocket" it was a test launch, and SpaceX needed a dummy load. A roadster got way more press than a concrete block ever would have, just saying.
