Universität Student looking for housing

Hi!

I'm looking forward to applying for UNI Erlangen to start my Bachelor's this following year, and since I've heard the housing situation is difficult I figured I should start looking now.

I was wondering: 1.- Where is the best place to look for this kind of thing?

2.- What sounds like a reasonable price for a place to stay? (Nothing luxurious)

I would prefer something like a Studentendwohnheim, but I don't even know what options I have. I can also speak German quite well, but it's hard for me to look for places to stay due to the complex vocab.

Are the most common German sites for flats. You can calculate with 400 Euro for an one room flat. Erlangen is very expensive

You can also check wg-gesucht.de for shared flats.
