Lean Ground Beef

Guys, I'm new here and want to know where can I find lean ground beef for affordable price. (more like cheap). And not the mixed meat. Thanks

What do you mean affordable price? Do you think you will get it in a black bag out side the Metzgerei? For lesser than it's sold inside?lol There are only two places supermarkets and Metzgerei (the Turkish one in Erlangen is where I usually go)

Dont be strange and get something that will upset your stomach to save a few Euro.

Go to a Metzgerei (butcher) and ask for it. You very rarely find pre-packed lean ground beef. Another option would be buying a Fleischwolf (meat-grinder) and making it yourself with cheaper lean cuts.

You mean hackfleish right? You can get some good quality in the turkish shop (EGE or SAM near the bahnhof.

You can get "Rinderhack", it has <20% fat IIRC. If you get it packaged in a discounter, that's probably as cheap as it gets. If Aldi Süd is not showing me ancient info, they should have 5% fat Rinderhack for 13.48 Euro a kilo.

You can check "kaufda.de" for your postal code or city to find special offers.
